Product description
A very large and impressive one-off Studio Pottery sculpture.
Hand produced earthenware sections that interlock to form a tower. Each section has been hand thrown, glazed and fired.
This piece was produced in 1968 by Jean Dovey, a student at Derby College and it was exhibited at the Derby College Arts Exhibition.
Comes with an original news article from the Derby Evening Telegraph, and original slide photos of the piece at the exhibition.
An extremely well executed piece, in good vintage condition, two small losses to the decoration on one of the sections, noticeable only on close inspection.
The stack comprises 11 individual pieces that interlock to form the sculpture.
