Vintage (extendable) dining room set from the 1960s. Beautiful teak veneer oval dining table with two extension panels. Beautiful oval model with wood grain clearly visible. Solid teak edge and teak veneer top. Solid teak base that is beautifully organically shaped until the base tapers inward. The table is easily extended by sliding the top open and placing the panels in between. Smooth operating metal sliding system. Ideal if you live smaller and receive regular visitors. The table seats 4-10 people. Chairs: Very nice organically designed teak frame. Ornate back and leg with beautiful rounded finish. The shapes are reminiscent of the design of Thonet. The frames are structurally checked and all in solid condition. The chairs are upholstered with green upholstery with fine line, still in very good condition. The foam still nice firm and the set has been little used, you can see that in everything. A very unique and rare set, I have not seen the design before. In clean condition, no damages. The table is very well preserved. The leg is easy to disassemble, making the table easy to transport. Beautiful details, true craftsmanship.
