For sale: vintage Danish secretaire in teak by Hanbjerg Møbelfabrik A/S. Hanbjerg Møbelfabrik is a Danish furniture manufacturer founded in 1956 by furniture maker Egon Jensen. The company began producing wall shelves and expanded into bookcases, secretaries and dressers in 1965, with a focus on teak veneer bookcases for the American market. In 1981 Egon Jensen co-founded the sales company FUMAC, focused on selling office furniture. Since then, Hanbjerg Møbelfabrik has focused on the production of functional and high-quality office furniture. In 1989 Egon's son, Tommy Jensen, took over the company. In 2001, a new, modern factory was opened in Vinderup. Today, the products are sold exclusively through FUMAC A/S in both domestic and international markets. The secretaire is in good to very good condition. The furniture has been polished and put in an appropriate Danish oil. Then again well polished. The chest of drawers has little to no signs of use.
