Beautiful vintage chest of drawers in rosewood, produced in Denmark by Niels J. Thorsø. This chest of drawers dates from the 1960s and comes directly from its country of origin. The cabinet features no less than 6 smoothly sliding drawers, each with solid wood handles that are gracefully designed. The unit stands firmly on tapered legs.
The chest of drawers has been carefully polished and treated with an appropriate Danish oil, then re-polished. There are few signs of use, although the front shows some discoloration. This is one of the famous designed chest of drawers and it is a wonderful example of Thorsø's craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Niels J. Thorsø is a renowned Danish furniture designer, known for his elegant and functional designs. His furniture, such as this chest of drawers, is loved for its timeless aesthetic and high-quality materials.
