Product description
Cut glass and punched silver decanter, 19th century. XX – France
Elegant decanter made of cut glass and punched silver neck, mid-20th century. Simple structure, round body made of diamond-cut crystal with sophisticated decorations composed of beveled geometric shapes, typical of this technique. Cuts in the glass create prismatic effects that dazzlingly reflect light. The neck or neck is made of silver and has a border with Art Nouveau style plant decorations. The punching indicates the quality and purity of the silver. It retains its original glass stopper, whose radial flower motif is repeated at the base of the bottle. It is a timeless and glamorous element that will not go unnoticed in your home showcase; in addition to being highly functional. The decanter is designed to store and serve fine spirits. Cut glass is not only decorative, but also practical, allowing a clear view of the contents.
