Vintage cocoon pendant lamp in more rare form manufactured by Goldkant Leuchten from the 1960s.
The shade reminiscent of George Nelson's "bubble lamp" was made by a special technology called spray-on fiberglass coating, a technique inspired by the silk worm. Because of this, the lamp is also called the cocoon lamp.
The lamp is in beautiful condition and provides a special warm light effect. The wiring was renewed as well as the ceiling cap.
A true eye-catcher that provides very pleasant atmospheric light!
