Vintage cocoon floor lamp from the 1960s by German brand Goldkant Leuchten. This stylish lamp with geometric shapes in the shade was made by a special technology called spray-on fiberglass coating, a technique inspired by the silk worm. Because of this, the lamp is also called the cocoon lamp. The lamp is equipped with 2 E27 fittings that provide a particularly warm light effect and can be switched on by means of a foot switch.
The lamp has light signs of use here and there that go with its age but is otherwise in nice condition. Nowhere is there a crack in the shade, just a small dent from the inside through the metal bonding (see photo).
