This armchair is an original from the 60s and made in the Chippendale style.
The curved legs and paw feet, which are reminiscent of animal legs, are typical of this style of furniture. The body is made of beech wood (stained dark brown).
The seat element is upholstered with natural materials (hemp, horsehair) and is removable. The upholstery fabric consists of floral elements in the colors green, brown and cream.

The upholstered surfaces have undergone a thorough wet textile cleaning with a water filter. The cleaning agent consists of plant-based surfactants. We clean and maintain the wooden surfaces with specially purified linseed oil in combination with an odorless and residue-free hydrocarbon solvent. This method is recommended by restorers.
