DESCRIPTION: A beautiful and unique vintage desk originating from the 1970s, during this time there was a revival of so-called Chinoiserie. A style originating in the mid-18th century where many lastels throughout Europe were full of Chinese-inspired furniture. But so in the 1970s, it was again a trend involving contemporary furniture. These were made by hand and so are different each time. So is this Bohemian desk or Bohemian secretaire. The desk has surrounding decorations of bacon stands with traditionally dressed women walking through a garden with musical instruments. The rest of the desk is painted with typical patterns. The desk folds open with 2 supporting holders sliding out. inside is a compartment with 2 drawers as well. This can also be taken out. Under the desk there are 2 narrow drawers and 2 wide drawers. In short, a beautiful and very practical piece of furniture that brings the oriental atmospheres into your home.
