Rene Roubicek´s chandelier made in 1960s - 1970s in Novy Bor Glassworks in Czechoslovakia. Each chandelier from this limited edition was unique by combination of hand blown glass globes and glass rods.
Rene Roubicek (1922-2018) was a significant Czech glass artist and designer, renowned for his innovative work with glass. Roubicek studied at the State Graphic School in Prague and then at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM), where he specialized in architectural glass.
Roubceek gained fame for his ability to transform glass into artistic and abstract forms.
