The CH28 also known as the "Sawhorse" chair by Hans J. Wegner is the essence of outstanding craftsmanship and comfort. Wegner's penchant for creating the perfect balance between form and function is evident in the elegant design elements and highly thought-out details. The armrests are beautifully rounded and Wegner has created an interesting dynamic between the slim, undulating seat, curved backrest and rounded legs. This is a beautiful original vintage chair with a solid oak frame and oak veneered backrest. The seat has been reupholstered with Kvadrat Remix upholstery fabric. Sculptural, functional and exceptionally comfortable, the CH28 demonstrates Wegner's remarkable sense of form and his experimental nature. The chair is in very clean vintage condition. The wood work has been cleaned, sanded and oiled. The chair is marked and numbered at the bottom. Dimensions are as follows: 78 cm, width 74 cm and depth 68 cm.
