Rare vintage brutalist Murano pendant lamp from the 1960 period. This exceptionally beautiful lamp has a rough forged metal "spider" frame containing a heavy stylish flower-shaped shade of two-color Murano glass. Because of the coarse structure of the glass and the colors in the Murano shade, the lamp provides a "splashing" lighting effect. The lamp does not bear any signature or brand. The design, the quality materials used, the brutalist look and the splash of light make this lamp a real showpiece. Overall height 60 cm, diameter 46 cm. The lamp is attributed to the Italian Mazzega. The lamp also has many characteristics of the 1960 period lamps by Swedish designers Tom Ahlstrom & Hans Ehrlich.
