Product description
Great Brutalist coffee table by Belgian collective Pia Manu made in the early 1970s. The frame and legs are solid black lacquered and frame a bronze patina ceramic sculpture that looks like a post-modern abstract painting. The table is not signed but the quality of the work and the style points directly to the Pia Manu workshop. Pia Manu is a workshop in Ingelmunster, Belgium. Jules Dewaele and his son Koen Dewaele designed many design pieces in the 1960s and 1970s. This unique table is in superb condition..
