A few years ago we acquired a sofa and two armchairs. Uniformly matching pieces of furniture. It is an heirloom from the first and only owner who purchased it in a furniture store in Amsterdam in the 1950s. She told us that it is made in the Netherlands, inspired by Danish design, and has been reupholstered once with a beautiful and very solid fabric from De Ploeg.
We moved a year ago and are proliferating a bit with the space available to us. Unfortunately, we had to decide to get rid of the sofa and the two armchairs. The furniture, especially because it is a complete set, immediately gives an interior a beautiful vintage atmosphere. We also hope that they will find a nice new home with someone who can appreciate the shape.
They are in pristine condition. No major damage and hardly any, very minor, signs of use. The left backrest of the sofa is loose (can be pulled up). This can be repaired with wood glue. The upholstery is undamaged and has no wear spots. In fact, a special furniture set that is beautifully preserved and approximately 70 years old. The specified dimensions concern the sofa.
There are a few small scratches at the bottom of one leg of the sofa (see photo). These can be felt fractionally. This can certainly be achieved neatly with wax.
