Originated from a painters workshop in Eindhoven (NL), custom made in the 1980s.
The cabinet has beautiful wooden rounding at the corners and the drawer handles are subtle and ergonomic. From the lacquered beech wood, a beautiful pattern can be seen on top top top and side walls.
The cabinet frame is made of quality beech plywood, finished with a transparent lacquer.
The drawer frames are made of solid beech and solid pine in which a plywood drawer bottom provides strength.
The chest of drawers is composed of two elements stacked on top of each other. Bottom element contains 7 large drawers, top element contains six large drawers.
Both elements are aligned by means of fitting blocks and are therefore not permanently connected.
The slender drawers run smoothly on runners and when opened they run into a locking device. Drawers are easily removed by lifting them over the pull-out latch.
Exterior dimensions of the cabinet as well as interior dimensions of drawers can be seen in the photos.
Cabinet has been strengthened over the years and has light signs of use which gives this cabinet even more character. The cabinet is still rigid and drawers run very smoothly.
