Product description
This polished aluminum citrus juicer mounted on an oak base was developed by DRAGON in the 1950's. The design of this object stems from the streamline movement. The streamline refers to an American design movement of the 1930's inspired by the aerodynamics of the water drop. This period will remain a unique case in the history of 20th century design: the apotheosis of the American style.Originally, the outer surface of these objects was designed so that when encountering a fluid such as water or air, there would be as little disturbance as possible in the form of turbulence or partial voids, which created resistance.Borrowed from aeronautics, the streamline honors new materials such as aluminum, shiny metal, bakelite and the first plastics.Dimension of the citrus press Height - in closed position 29 cmDimension of the aluminum baseLength 21 cmWidth: 13 cmDimension of the oak supportLength: 37 cmWidth: 19 cmThickness; 1.6 cm
