Vintage 80s Bijan style brass bonsai tree wall sculpture. Very good quality, the sculpture looks as if it was formed from molten brass that flowed freely and cooled slowly like lava. The molten feel comes from the lack of sharp edges and it has a beautiful golden metallic sheen. The sculpture has round, organic shapes as if it was sculpted by water or wind. The organic essence is further enhanced by the stacked layers of the tree branches and leaves, giving it a real sense of depth. The whole is composed of several cast parts, in good condition, minor traces of use, see the photos for a good impression. Dimensions are approximately 75 x 55 centimeters.
