Beautiful (fruit) bowl on base almost 100 years old, made by the Villeroy & Boch factory in Bonn (Germany) in the years 1920-1925. It is the Bonn factory, which had been acquired by Villeroy &Boch in 1920 from Steingutfabrik Franz Anton Mehlem. Eventually the factory was closed again by Villeroy & Boch in 1931. The bowl shows no flaws, nor cracks, which is exceptional for this age. The bowl is not often seen, which makes it rare. Bowl diameter 27.5cm and height 9.5cm. The scale is well packaged and shipped with track and trace, pick up in Breskens is also an option.
