Vintage Viking horn mug made of porcelain. Made in Norway by Figgjo. Popular theme and even harder to find in this particular form is this modernist interpretation of the traditional Scandinavian drinking horn "The Vikings," illustrated by Rolf Frøyland. Rolf Frøyland worked for Figgjo for over thirty years. This is a remake from the 1980s or 1990s. The original Vikings series was in production from 1964-68. 👌Excellent condition. Designer model: Ragnar Grimsrud. Decor: Rolf Frøyland.
