Pewter and glass orange pocket tray with flower motif, made by Jean Goardere, "meilleur ouvrier de France" in 1955 for prestige and luxury crafts, and winner of the "French good taste" award in 1969. The object represents a glass flower on a pewter base of leaves. Dimensions: width of the flower 17cm height of the object 4.5 cm Signature: On the back of the object bearing the words, 95% Étain fait main Jean GOARDERE France
No signs of wear, the item has been in the family home since it was purchased in the 60s. I hesitated to put excellent for the condition, no scratches on the glass, however I don't have the original box of the object, so I chose very good.
