Product description
This colorful and minimalist chair is a wonderful example of the aftermath of postmodern design. Trained in the modernist tradition of Denmark, designer Verner Panton was a seeker of the eccentric. He experimented with unconditional forms and colors in the world of furniture making. He is best known for the "Panton Chair" for Vitra. Between 1993 and 1994, IKEA launched the 'Vilbert' chair. Due to low sales of this particular chair, the design was taken off the shelves and a large part of the production was destroyed. Reason enough to invest in this eccentric boy.
On the left side/end of the 'front leg' is a slight damage/discoloration visible
