Product description
This colourful and minimalistic chair is a beautiful example of the aftermath of postmodern design. Educated in Denmark’s modernist tradition, designer Verner Panton was a seeker of the eccentric. He experimented with unconditional shapes and colors in the world of furnituremaking. Commenly is he renowned for the ‘Panton Chair’ for Vitra. Between 1993 and 1994 IKEA launched the ‘Vilbert’ chair. Due to low sales of this extraordinary chair, the design was removed from the shelves and a large amount of production had been destroyed. This given, reason enough to invest in this eccentric kid.
On the left side/end of the 'front leg' is a slight damage/discoloration visible
