Iconic Panton chair, designed by Verner Panton for Hermann Miller / Fehlbaum Production. Designed in 1960, this chair is from the 3rd production run (from 1971 to 1979) in thermoplastic with reinforcement ribs underneath. The chair is marked with the manufacturer's logo and production date 1978. Quite rare and difficult to find nowadays.
The chair is in a beautiful glossy condition with minimal to light scratches and signs of wear consistent with the age of the chair.
The Panton Chair or S Chair is part of the permanent collections of New York's Museum of Modern Art, London's Design Museum, Denmark's Museum of Art & Design in Copenhagen and more.
