Product description
One of our most unusual finds to date is this beautiful and very rare brown sofa. Its puffy contours are reminiscent of a French brioche. Designed by Studio Gruppo 14 for Busnelli in the 1970s, the T.E.E. II sofa must have been produced in a very limited edition, as this is the only piece we have found so far. It was invented as "il primo salotto su rotaie" or, the first living room on wheels. It was available as an armchair, two- and three-seater and was sold together with a kind of rail system on which the chairs could be installed, allowing them to move sideways. In the 1970s, it was touted as the first design where you could move without standing up: to grab your glass, turn up the volume, light your cigarette or grab your girlfriend's hand.
