Magnificent flamed stoneware vase by Denbac, decorated in the Art Nouveau style by its creator René Denert and his team. The Denbac factory was founded in 1901 in Vierzon. * This vase is distinguished by its four handles, ovoid base and tubular neck, characteristic of the artistic creations of the Art Nouveau period. Denbac was inspired by fluid, organic forms in motion, enhanced by flamboyant glazes in shades of beige, earthy brown and blue. The vase is marked in blue ink. * Created in 1926, this vase was specially designed for an advertising client: La Maison Prasline de Montargis, a large firm founded by Léon Mazet in 1851. Originally specialized in the manufacture of artisanal liqueurs and aperitifs, the company is now recognized for its excellence and authenticity in the confectionery field. The emblematic praline, invented in 1636 by the mouth officer of the Duke of Praslin, continues to perpetuate the House of Mazet's worldwide reputation, still produced today in the former royal confectionery. * Not surprisingly, Léon Mazet chose the Denbac factory to promote his company. In 1920, Mazet had a superb neo-Gothic building constructed for his new boutique, whose artistic style was a perfect match for Denbac's creations. The Léon Mazet house is still in perfect harmony with the Denbac style, and continues to surprise many with its architecture, both inside and out. * This vase is a rare and precious example of French stoneware heritage, influenced by Art Nouveau. * It is in perfect condition. * 📏 27 cm h / 8 cm dia base / 4,5 cm dia top ⚖️ 0,880 gr
