We (unfortunately) find this beautiful table too big for our room. Our original Van Rossum dining table Nota Bene is celebrated in the color Charcoal, but it comes out very dark. So comes across more like black. . There are 1 or 2 tiny damages on it, because the table is after all use (5 years old). But must say this is really minimal. You can see some scratches in ironing light, and there is 1 small spot on it where the color is gone. But I think this can just be touched up, and then you see nothing more of it.
