Beautiful 50's-60's vintage Czech "Alexandrite" crystalline glass bowl or pouch, neodymium glass, Zelezny Brod Sklo style. Mauve/lavender, more or less pinkish depending on the light. Free form or stylized swan "half basket" with high handle, oblong hollow bowl, large base. 27.5-28cm high max, 7cm high bowl alone, approx. 21cm long max, 14cm wide. Very good overall condition, with a few minor age marks, small surface scratches, notably under the base, and small rubs on the rim, also unobtrusive. 2-3 small chips on the lower edge of the base, not very visible. Approx. 1,300kg.
