Black leather sofa with rosewood wood by Bovenkamp furniture from 1965, marked 65. Bovenkamp was one of the best furniture makers of the 1960s and took their inspiration from Danish design.
The set is in good vintage condition. On the points by which the sofa has stood against the wall small damages. The leather is ingezeten, but is well polished. See photo for wear spot on one of the cushions.
The sofa is 195 x 78 deep x 54 armrest / 80 back height. The armchair has the same dimensions but is 77 wide. Seat height is approximately 45 cm.
I am the third owner, originally stood in a director's office for a long time. Then always stood in a smoke-free homes.
The leather is resident, which gives it character. Can be polished well. Corners are more fragile and slightly damaged.
