DESCRIPTION: A floor lamp like this you only come across once in a lifetime. This lamp is originally a ceiling lamp but due to the enormous weight it is very difficult to apply this in the modern home. Therefore, this lamp is converted into a floor lamp. The lamp is made entirely of cast iron, a popular material choice around the end of the 19th century. The lamp has the ornate details of art nouveau all around such as the graceful organic shapes around the base and floral top. Between the lamps heads can be found, the style of these heads tends toward the French style. The lamp is coated in a thick layer of light green / bluish paint combined with white. Such a lamp most likely came from a large mansion or castle, this craftsmanship was only affordable for the rich. But now also for you. Who will be the lucky new owner?
