An exceptional pair of modernist lounge chairs. They were produced in the 1960s at the Van Den Berghe-Pauvers factory in Ghent by an employee who wanted to make some nice chairs for himself. He was clearly inspired by "Model 2256" by Børge Mogensen and also very knowledgeable because the quality of these chairs is of a very high level with beautiful details such as the visible joints. The architectural frames are made of solid walnut and come with the original blue/black leather cushions. The chairs have adjustable backs for maximum comfort. Unique pair!
