This particular chest of drawers designed by Marcel Wanders, is a rare and refined design piece. Made of solid walnut and unused, also perfect as a dressing table, side table or bedside table. This is the last one available for private sale.
The sleek dresser has a recessed top and brass handles in the shape of an apple and a snake, a subtle reference to the first woman. The top drawer holds a separate walnut insert with a white leather bottom, a detail that underscores the sophistication of the design. The slender legs and sides are crafted from a single piece of wood, creating an elegant, flowing transition.
Kate is part of Marcel Wanders' "Beautiful Women" collection, an ode to femininity and design. In his original vision, Kate is used as a dressing table and forms an ensemble with the baroque mirror Paris and the tabouret, with round shapes inspired by the 1960s.
