At just 16 years old, Annelie began her artistic journey at the famous Famous Artist School in Amsterdam, where she took her first steps on the path of artistic expression. Her expertise in Raku-fired ceramics, a technique that represents joy and simplicity, earned her international recognition. In the late 1970s, Annelie discovered the versatility of ceramics at the Foundation for Cultural and Creative Design in Maastricht. Here she expanded her horizons further by experimenting with Tiffany glass art, an art form known for its vibrant colors and detailed designs. Since 1987, Annelie has worked as an independent artist and developed her unique style, combining clay, glass, paintings and felt work. Her works, infused with joy and happiness, are appreciated worldwide and exhibited in various galleries, earning her a respected place in the international art community.
