Product description
Impressive sofa set, a two-seater sofa, 'Model 6603' by Franz Köttgen for Kill International from the 1960s. The sturdy round frame is made of black lacquered oak. Attached to the back of the frame are metal rods into which the backrest slides neatly. This is easily removed if one wants to use the sofa as a sofa bed (daybed), for example. The seat and back cushions are upholstered in beautiful soft cognac leather. On the corner of the sofa is a cream-colored travertine top. With its simplistic design and warm look, this sofa brings a nice balance between different interior styles. The whole construction is solid and based on geometric shapes and sharp lines. Produced by Kill International and the craftsmanship shows.
Of course, given its age, there is a single superficial scratch on the metal and wood frame, and a very nice patina on the leather. There is also a dent on the side of the frame, where something has previously been placed against it. As far as we are concerned, this adds value to the story the sofa tells.
