Twin sisters bronze statues with kittens are two bronze statues and a cute gift for to twins or for children statues lovers. The two bronze statues are a girl sitting on a chair with a kitten under her chair and in the other the kitten is lying on her lap. Based on an original by the artist Franz Iffland. The artist: Franz Iffland Franz Iffland (1862-1935) was a German sculptor and painter who worked during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was born in 1862 in Berlin, Kingdom of Prussia. Most of his sculptures were influenced by the art nouveau movement, but late in his career, beginning in the mid-1920s, he produced a number of art deco sculptures. Iffland died in Berlin, Nazi Germany in 1935. The title of this piece is called "JOLIE CHAT" which means Pretty Cat. Created by the artist Franz Iffland, the piece has the artist's signature and "Paris" engraved on the bottom of the chair. This is a vintage copy of the original made around 1890. Signed and stamped in bronze.
