For sale is an original Danish lounge ensemble with cognac / tabac-colored leather in a very good and exceptional condition.

STYLE:
Danish / Mid - Century Modern
DESCRIPTION:
Frame made of solid teak with curved, three-dimensional armrests. Fitted seat frame with belt covering and protective, quilted stretch fabric cover. Crossbars with side elements screwed and dowelled. Surface with beautiful visible wood structure. Upholstered cushions with elegant topstitching (with this type of stitching, the individual cover parts interlock like finger hooking and are then double-stitched. This type of seam is therefore considerably more robust, has a significantly higher tensile strength and is significantly more durable than single/standard seams). Back cushions with genuine leather upholstery buttons and zipper. New seat cushions with upholstery foam with "comfort" firmness (you don't sink in as deeply) instead of "casual" firmness (similar to down) and new leather cover with zipper and ventilation openings. The gloss level is still a little duller than that of the back cushions; with increasing use, the leather will become smoother and change from silky matt to silky gloss, matching the gloss level of the back cushions.

The photos are exposed in high light so that the 1a condition is also visible in detail! Reddish tones become redder and colors become generally brighter. The shadow areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the natural color tones. Gloss on the photos or grayish or milky areas are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are silk matt to silk gloss.

CONDITION:
The ensemble is technically and visually in a very good and exceptional condition and has only very minor, not significant signs of wear. It is so well maintained that our refurbishment work was very limited and essentially reduced to a light cleaning, which we always carry out. All in all, a very beautiful, high-quality set that you will enjoy for decades to come.
The ensemble comes from the household of a childless couple, which was completely furnished with high-quality Danish teak furniture.
