Ton Pape (Rijswijk 1916 - The Hague 2003)
Ton Pape trained at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and was an artist member of Pulchri. In the post-war period, Ton Pape designed about 800 designs for rugs and fabrics. In the special original oeuvre of the Rijswijk painter, figurative and abstract periods alternate. Favorite subjects are landscapes and cityscapes, in which he often seeks emptiness. Another style is his geometric-abstract compositions. He exhibited extensively in Pulchri Studio and in 2002 in the Rijswijk Museum.
Sheet has light spots, see photo.
