Beautiful 60's vintage Dutch design teak scissor lamp in good condition with a chocolate brown metal shade from the 70's. The lamp has a special mechanism, the arm can be tilted and extended; diagonally up, horizontally and diagonally down. It is an ingenious click mechanism made entirely of wood, invented by Dutch industrial designer T.J.W. Zweers that was patented in 1959. The lamp rotates 180 degrees from the wall plate and the reach can be extended to 110 cm as desired. The shade can also be tilted and can be fixed in the desired position by means of a wing nut. A beautiful example of Mid - Century industrial design, and absolutely a must have for vintage lovers.
