Product description
Black metal Tizio floor lamp by Richard Sapper for Artemide. The lamp was designed in the 1970s. Thanks to its aesthetic and functional balance, Tizio remains a marvel of modern design. Created in 1972, the lamp has two counterweights that allow the user to direct the light as desired. The lamp is adjusted by pulling or pushing by hand and stays in place. Tizio's arms conduct electricity to the bulb, an early introduction to halogen, eliminating the need for additional wires and creating a sleek aesthetic. A small diffuser works with the light source to provide highly concentrated light. The Tizio has received multiple awards and can be seen in MoMA's permanent collection, among others. Well maintained lamp, with barely any signs of use
normally used, minimal signs of use
