Product description
This unique and rarely offered vintage post-modern design lamp, D 17 T designed by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto for Luceplan, has a striking appearance and was only produced in a small edition. This floor lamp was released by Luceplan in 1995, as a supplement to the Titania hanging lamp from 1989. The addition T. stands for “terra”, Italian for floor.
A series of aluminum ellipses and several ribs form the structure of the lamellar shell. This serves as an anti-glare screen and central light source reflector. Titania illuminates and "decorates" the house. This floor version will be placed next to sofas or armchairs in the living rooms, but can also be used in a high-end business environment or in waiting areas/receptions, etc.
The appearance of the lamp is determined by 2 interchangeable color filters in the lamp, 1 x purple and 1 x red in the photos. A total of 5 sets of color filters are included in the original packaging (blue, yellow, green, purple and red)
The elliptical lamp is a striking light source that is not conspicuously present in the room due to its shape and translucent structure.
This offer consists of the complete (working) floor lamp, the set of dimmers and the original (English) Luceplan catalog (77 pp.) from 1997/1998 with the complete Luceplan lighting program.
The lamp is supplied in working condition, complete with light source, dimmer and 5 sets of polycarbonate color filters, and with the (77 pp) Luceplan catalog with the entire
Luceplan program of that moment. The lamp is in excellent vintage condition with minor traces of use and age.
