Armchair made of beech wood, partly bent, black lacquered, for Thonet , design Josef Hoffmann ( Wiener Werkstätten) 1907, year of manufacture not known, label no longer present, also called "barrel chair". Original upholstery fabric "Lampen" design by Josef Hoffmann, the upholstery itself is in good condition, removable seat.
The black paintwork is chipped in places on the upper backrest (see photo). The original upholstery fabric cover is somewhat soiled and worn at the front. (see photo) (The same fabric cover "lamps" is still available in stores)
