A beautiful and stylish armchair by De Ster Geldermalsen. What immediately stands out is the unusually shaped beechwood frame and the combination of material use in the seat and back: a rush seat made of seagrass and a fabric backrest. The chair is in original condition. Both the seagrass and the furniture fabric are in very clean condition. Especially for a chair that is almost 70 years old.
Dimensions are as follows: 77 cm in height, 63 cm in width and 72 cm deep. Seat height is 36 cm.
After sixty plus years, slight discoloration is visible on the upholstery. Piping has acquired nice patina. One side is attached at the bottom with an additional screw
