French painter and graphic artist of Haitian descent, born November 5, 1937 in Port-au-Prince in Haiti.
In his paintings, Télémaque uses ordinary objects, such as tennis shoes, camping tents, underpants, etc. He participates in the adventure of the 'Figuration narrative', with artists such as Peter Klasen, Jacques Monory.
In the early 1960s, his art received international attention. In 1964 he participates in Documenta 3 in Kassel represented in the department 'Aspekte 1964' and in 1968 he is invited to participate in Documenta 4 with his paintings.
