The main element of Nomos is a 15 mm thick top made of solid crystal glass that meets the requirements of safety glass. The frame underneath is a unique feature of the table because, unlike most tables, it does not consist of four classic legs, but of a skeleton of zoomorphic stature. The table top is held in place by six strong suction cups, while the frame, which can be installed in two heights (66 or 72 cm), stands on high-quality base plates. The feet of the Nomos desk are also fitted with leveling screws to compensate for uneven floors.
