Product description
This vintage sideboard from the 1960s designed by František Jirák was produced by the company TATRA nábytok in the former Czechoslovakia. Like many pieces of furniture produced in this region, this cabinet is walnut veneered with a golden brown, high-gloss finish. Typical is the skillful way in which these strips are "mirrored" attached. This is particularly visible when the doors and drawers are closed. The 5 drawers are also veneered from a strip of the same wood, making them flow beautifully into each other. Halfway up is the spacious display case with glass shelf, to the right of which is the luxurious bar area. The back wall is lined with mirrored elements. The upper side offers space for various tableware or glassware. Height: 157 cm. Width: 159 cm. Depth: 47 cm.
Be aware that this sideboard is not new, it has been around since the 1960s. Nevertheless, it is in very good vintage condition. The high-gloss lacquer has a few small chips and the mirrored elements in the display case and bar area are slightly weathered. This adds to the charm of this piece of furniture.
