Vintage tapestry Wissa Wassef Bought early 90s in Cairo, Egypt. In Excellent condition.
Unique hand-woven Egyptian tapestry depicting plants, flowers, leaves and small birds at an oasis, initialed W. W. and dated 1991 lower right. Printed French language label verso of Ramses Wissa Wassef Art Centre, with signature of the maker, indicating a unique production 'sous la direction de Sophie Halib Gorgi', signed by eleve de l'ecole Ramses Wissa Wassef'.
