Technique: Hand embroidered, woven, patchwork, felted Medium: Cotton, polyester, wool Hella Jongerius designed three wall hangings for Ikea featuring animals (fox, goat and rabbit) from Swedish fairy tales. The series was part of a collaboration between Ikea and Unicef. They are titled Mikkel, Gullspira and Pelle and are made by women from India. This particular tapestry Mikkel by Hella Jongerius is rare. The colors and materials of this tapestry are beautiful. The item is included in the collection of the Dutch Textile Museum under object number 15077a=c.
