For sale is this table by Belgian architect-designer Pieter de Bruyne (1931-1987). The frame is made of chromed steel with reinforced corner joints for better stability. The beautiful and unique table top consists of a combination of solid and veneered Indian rosewood and includes a unique and ingenious system to extend the table. See detail photos. The table dates from the 1960s and is still in great condition for its age. The chrome of the frame is still very cool with no rust. Also the wood is very well preserved except for a tiny dent of a few mm diameter in the tabletop (see last enlarged detail photo). It can be used as a dining table, desk or conference table and can be perfectly combined with chairs that also have a chrome frame, such as Thereca chairs and the SM07 by Pastoe bvb...
