By delightful coincidence, we were able to find some desks/dining tables by Bureau Mecanoo. Francine Houben's design bureau designed these tables for a building of theirs. Due to new regulations regarding work posture, these have been replaced by height-adjustable ones on which the tops are mounted again. We provided these magnificent oyster steel bases with an entirely new oak veneer top and gave them a beautiful matte finish in natural and black. The simple and ingenious construction makes the tops seem to float just above the legs. In short: a beautiful design of Dutch origin.
