Tough industrial leather vintage easy chair/ lobby chair. Designer: Geoffrey Harcourt for Artifort. The name of the widely known furniture factory Artifort comes from the Latin art & fortes ( art & strength). Period: 1960s. This model is special because of its tilt mechanism / rocking chair position which gives it a wonderful seating comfort. Material: leather upholstery and armrests, beautiful aluminum star base & armrest, eames style. This leather version is only a limited edition released. Seat height is: +/- 44 a 45 cm. Still in good vintage condition 'beautiful used look' lacks 2 buttons on the seat. This vintage example gives a sense of luxury with a nod to minimalism. Beautiful in both a modern and vintage interior.
