Oval 'sugar bowl' Rotaflex pendant lamp from the 1960s. This lamp from the 'Christals' series was designed by John & Sylvia Reid. This lamp is made by a hollow wire in plastic covered on the outside with thousands of transparent lucite grains that provide a pleasant and typical ambient light.
Due to its shape, this oval-shaped lamp is rarer as opposed to the round ones that are even easier to find. Also, the sugar bowl lamps have now become a design classic.
The pendant lamp is in very nice vintage condition. Also, the wiring and ceiling cap were renewed.
