Adorable collectible art porcelain subject, Hahn Georges Selim for Goebel, Germany. Vintage 1980s (1984). Featuring a small, stocky Nagazaki rooster, modern art deco style, polychrome hand-painted in turquoise blue, red, white, russet, duck blue/green, black, white, yellow... Large crest, feathered tail. Numbered 38930 29. 26cm max. height, 26cm length, approx. 17cm max. width. Very good overall condition, one small, very discreet restoration on the bottom of the left barb (chip filled and painted), one tiny chip on the back of the tail, no other accidents. However, the chest, legs and base have been repainted (domed) due to several paint defects and old brush restorations, less glossy appearance than the rest of the body, a few imperfections visible under the layer of black, small flaws on the edges but very discreet, the final appearance is heterogeneous and harmonious, clean.
